There is unethical behavior everywhere we go, and the internet and web are no exception. Common examples are posting information someone didn't want up, pretending that you are someone else in a chat room, and of course copying and pasting someone's work to your document and claiming that it's yours.
One type of unethical behavior on the internet is the fabrication of online data. Examples include altering school academic records and forging signed documents( found here: http://guides.lib.umich.edu/c.php?g=283365&p=1887165 at the very bottom of the page) During December of 2014, an army official was browsing through a social network site when she found an offensive video.(full site here: http://www.defense.gov/news/newsarticle.aspx?id=123850) She commented as such, and was viciously attacked by several others. Some of them were even soldiers, so the soldier in question, Katrina Moerk, went to those soldiers and explained to them why they were wrong. Because of her willingness to stand up, she received an Army Commendation Medal at a ceremony in the Pentagon. Besides putting up videos that are offensive, there are many other unethical acts that can be done on the internet: identity theft, piracy, informational and financial fraud, and disruption of computers/services.
